For more than fifteen years Klash the Clown has honed his craft in Owen Sound, a two legged one wheeled tourist attraction known and loved through the region. Klash has performed his show for thousands of people throughout Ontario and across the Country. Call him new age or call him post-modern, Klash incorperates classic elements of clowning with his own intuitive inner-child. He is self mocking and addlepated like archetypal hobo and tramp clowns. But he is no sad clown. He's also a performer - a juggler, unicycler, and balloon sculptor - like the white faced harlequins of yesteryear. Hard Work and dedication has made Klash one of the brightest childrens entertainers in the Country. He has performed at birthday parties, corperate functions, malls, fairs, festivals, libraries, schools and theatres. And his mission is to promote the 'art' of clowning. Says Klash "Whether they walk on stilts, paint faces, juggle or perform feats of magic, clowns are artists whose canvas is childrens imagination." |
