| About Karen |
|
Karen Bell graduated Clown College in 1985. After graduation, Karen went on to tour with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus for eight years. During her time with Ringling Bros., she toured Japan while with the Gold Unit and she toured the United States while with the Red Unit. She has appeared on the CBS Circus Specials, Today Show, Good Morning America and Entertainment Tonight. Also, check out Disney's 'Let's Go to the Circus' Sing-a-Long Video. Karen has created several one-woman stage shows, teaches children's clowning workshops, and performs at parties. Karen is also available as roaming entertainment at fairs and festivals or for face painting and balloon animals. Denver Public Schools, Littleton Historic Museum, Smokebrush Theater, Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Taste of Colorado, Denver's Performing Art Festival, Children's Museum and the Denver Public Libraries are among Karens clients. While touring she learned the art of Prop Making, which came naturally because of her previous background in sculpting. To stay in touch with her great love of the Circus, Karen continues to create props and gags for the Ringling Clowns. |
