Tom King is West Virginia's premier family entertainer with skills in the art of clowning, comedy magic, balloon sculpturing and stilt walking. He is the author of the book Clown Soup and has been published in the Funny Paper, The New Calliope, Clowning Around, Circus Magic E-Mag and Big Top entertainment publications. He has entertained and lectured throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Southeastern United States and Canada. Tom has entertained at private and public functions at the West Virginia Governors Mansion and also the TAMARACK, West Virginia's center for displaying the talents of the best of the best of its artists and craftspeople, in addition to the Clay Center, Charleston West Virginia's Culture & Arts Center. He has appeared as a guest performer with Ringling Brothers Barnum Bailey Circus. Tom also performed for the lighting of the National Christmas Tree at the White House. |
| Tom presents shows for elementary schools. He also does preschool, library, seasonal programs and his Summer Time - Fun Time Show. Tom also does Health and Humor Therapeutic programs for hospitals and nursing programs. He works as an instructor at conventions and workshops for variety artist, magicians and clowns. He operates Clown Boot Camp, is director of the Mountain State Variety Arts Workshop and is co-director of Clown Jubilee and Family Entertainment Workshops. Tom is certified by West Virginia Board of Education as an Entertainment Arts Instructor. |  |

He is Vice President of Clowns of America International Mideast Region and is also member of world Clown Association, Kanawha Klowns, Southeast Clown Association, Texas Clown Association, Crescent City Clowns and The Association for Applied Therapeutic Humor. Tom is also a member and sits on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Clown Association. |
| Tom received the Bo-Dino Memorial Scholarship from the World Clown Association to attend Clown Camp at the University of Wisconsin. Tom as attended numerous other workshops and schools for family entertainers. Tom performs regularly for Marshall University and West Virginia State University. He also performs for the Kanawha County Board of Education, Ashland Kentucky's Town Center Mall, West Virginia Library Association, Museum in the Community, Star USA Credit Union, West Virginia Lung Association, West Virginia Power minor league baseball team, the West Virginia State Parks and many, many more.
